The Department of Communities and Local Government (CLG) has recently appointed Digital Inclusion Advisors to be made available to work with Local Authorities to explore issues and opportunities for Digital Inclusion within our cities. One Nottingham is the first Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) in the country to work with the Digital Inclusion Advisors.
CLG describe Digital Inclusion as “The use of technology either directly or indirectly to improve the lives and life chances of people and the places in which they live”.
On behalf of One Nottingham, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and Connected Nottingham I would like to invite you to attend Nottingham’s Digital Inclusion Seminar taking place on Wednesday 2nd December from 1.15pm in Nottingham’s BioCity.
The seminar will hear the Digital Inclusion Advisors findings and recommendations, based on consultations carried out with the LSP and partners and will offer the opportunity to plan next steps and develop an action plan to tackle the cities digital divide issues.
Agenda:
